Who can use the immediate eVisa
The Ministry of Interior describes the eVisa as an immediate electronic entry visa for foreign nationals who do not require prior approval. The applicant pays online and prints the visa before travel 1.
The service page links to nationality lists. Some Arab and other foreign nationalities qualify only if they hold at least 6 months of residence in a listed country or a valid Schengen or US visa meeting the stated conditions 1.
Official visa fees
Documents and conditions
Applicants relying on foreign residence or a Schengen or US visa must meet the exact validity condition on the Ministry page. A return ticket is required when departure is by air under those conditional routes 1.
A visa's validity period and the permitted stay after entry are separate. Read the issued document and entry stamp for the authorised stay. Do not infer a stay length from the fee table alone 1,2.
How to apply
- Open the Jordan Ministry of Interior electronic-services site 1,2.
- Choose the visa service that matches the nationality and visit route 1.
- Provide the requested passport, residence or visa evidence.
- Pay by the official electronic methods listed by the ministry 1.
- Print or save the issued eVisa and carry the supporting documents used in the application.
Visa on arrival
Many nationalities can receive a visa at a Jordanian entry point, but the prior-approval lists matter. The eVisa is a way for eligible travellers to complete the fee and document step before arrival 1.
Check the Ministry of Interior nationality list before departure. A past visa on arrival or a commercial travel page is not proof that the rule still applies to your passport on 19 October 2026 1.
